Notions Group – the creators of Dubai’s original guilt-free chocolate treat, Chocodate™ – is an innovative and regionally recognized Dubai-based group of companies.

Global yet Grounded

Chocodate™ already existed as a brand within the UAE market and at a time when it was about to go global, we were asked to reinvent the entire brand. One of the critical success factors of the brief was to ensure that the brand we develop has a global appeal, while staying true to the origins of an Arabian treat.

Reinventing with Inspiration

The new brand is inspired by a cross section of the chocolate covered date, coupled with bold colors that indicate the variety of flavors. We integrated the “Kufiya” pattern across a variety of packaging systems, which is globally recognized and yet links directly to the region. The outcome is a product with a strong shelf presence and desirable appeal to all the date and chocolate lovers out there!
